Have you ever been at a shopping center entrance and there are like maybe 4-6 doors with only 1 opened and you automatically move towards that door? Even if the other door are empty and you might have to wait a few seconds for everyone to pass cos everyone is also using that 1 door? I'm sure loads of people does that. For me,no way. I will move towards the doors that are closed and push/pull it by myself. It kinda peeves me off to see a bunch of people swarming towards that 1 opened door. I guess it could be because of my dad's "lecture" when I was young.
My dad used to drive when we were much younger and he didn't even know how to take public transport. Anyway... I guess when kids sit in the backseat, they tend to only open 1 door and all would scramble in through that 1 day, but my dad would scold us and say "There are 2 back doors for you all to use, why must you all squeeze through 1 door and wait for them to move in then you climb in? Can't you just walk to the other side and use the other door?" He says this rather sternly and would repeat whenever this scenario happens. 久而久之 this is instilled into my head.
Hence the next time you see me walking towards an empty closed door and pushing it open, dun be alarmed or ask me why cos the answer is as above.
