Every afternoon Yess 93.3 has this program with Mary Bukoh whereby she reads letters sent in by readers. First heard this on Tuesday and it was about this story of the reader's grandma. Said she suddenly got dementia while out shopping and forgot her way home. Family had to make police report and grandma was only found later that night. Gradually her dementia became worse and she was sent to nursing home to be taken care of. Things were thought to be fine till she suddenly got stroke and became blind, deaf and mute. She could no longer see or hear and even speak to her family, and she eventually passed on. My tears were rolling down in the office when I heard this. I can just imagine the anguish the grandma must have felt.
